Currently open to the public every Friday & Saturday, the Tap House is a trendy music-themed bar with portraits of famous musicians and other music inspired decor.

Owners of R&M Metal Finishing recognised the demand for craft beer back in 2018, when they purchased the brewery. Since then, sales have increased leading to the tap house being built in 2019. Andy Sinton Director of R&M Metal Finishing & Rachel Hunt Director of Beat Brewery acknowledge:

“Our Maintenance Specialist Chris Willacy would bring in his home-brewed beer for comment & tasting and we thought this would be a great venture to future proof our business and overcome challenges such as Brexit. We have been getting busier ever since. Chris who is also a Director of Beat Brewery was so excited to break out of his homebrew kitchen and run a full-size brewery whilst still supporting R&M.”

The success of the brewery has progressed naturally through word of mouth and social media. They produce 8 different types of craft beers that are available to buy online and are available in cask & keg in the Tap House.

Andy concluded:

“When Government restrictions are lifted, we will be able to fill the Tap House & the new room to its limit on a regular basis. We would also like to have bands on at the weekend to coincide with our music theme, as well as making it a place people can hire for functions.”
